BooCoo offers a large variety of classes and is host to a lively evening music scene - which is definitely worth your while to check out. Accordingly, our partnership with Boocoo for Spring 2008 consists of two exciting classes on recording studio techniques. Learn how all the concepts work together as you actually mix a recording session and develop your ears. Then, set up your first demo recording session with an in-house jazz ensemble. Finally, mix the resulting tracks for a complete sound engineering experience. Students who complete both sessions may apply for an unpaid, 10-week internship for more experience and resumé-building.
MUS B21-01, BOCO, 8 Tue., 3/18, 7-9 pm CRN 40900

For information on how to register, go to http://www.oakton.edu/cont_ed/all/registration.html

The Noncredit Dispatch has morphed from an e-newsletter into a blog.
